We're Home!

Well I decided that I wanted to get home yesterday, and had the hospital release both H and I. Our first night home went well, compared to the twins it was a breeze! I can barely walk, my ankles and feet are so swollen, but we are both doing well at home and hope to get into the swing of things soon. Just wanted to share a professional picture we had taken while in the hospital. Hubby and I will probably buy the copyrights to the pictures, there are some really adorable pictures, and I will share those as soon as I can. Happy Monday!

No Such Luck ~ September 19

No such luck on the natural delivery. We are still on for our Thursday C-section. So we have less than 3 days until the baby will be here! How exciting! I guess Jason and I had better discuss naming her... (or him... in case the technicians are wrong!)

We can still go early too, maybe we will have an anniversary baby? Then there is no way Jason or I could forget our anniversary! ;)

Happy Monday everyone!

Slightly Depressing ~ September 15th

I had Jason take pregnancy pictures tonight of my almost 38 week pregnant belly, seeing as we could go any day with this baby girl. Then when I was editing the picture, I thought it would be fun to compare it to when I was pregnant with the boys, and it's actually a pretty depressing comparison.

Today

With twins

Yeah... I look just as big as I did with the twins, except she is obviously lower (of course it was always Ryan riding up high in my ribs with poor Matthew being squished underneath).

We were initially told that with my Placenta Previa we would have to have a Cesarean. We scheduled that for Thursday, September 22nd, a week from today. But after today's appointment, it looks like the placenta may have moved enough for a natural delivery. No confirmation on that yet, I go in on Monday to get checked again, so the C-section is still scheduled for next Thursday. But if we can wait a little longer, and have her naturally... well that's better all around. I don't have to worry about the complications from the surgery, or Previa, and no weight restriction when I get released from the hospital. I mean, how can you carry an infant in a car seat with a 10 pound weight restriction? You can't, I guess. So more information to come.

Sorry I have not kept up with the pictures project. I have been slacking on both the posting and picture taking part of this project. I promise to get back to it when the baby arrives, and of course you all will be the first to see pictures!

Here are some more current pictures of the boys. Playing paper-towel-stack the other day. Amazing what keeps them entertained some days.
