First of all, I have some news for you all. We are pregnant! I am currently about 12.5 weeks pregnant, a little over three months. Everything, thankfully, has been going great with this pregnancy. We are tentatively due October 1st, and we will continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy and healthy little baby. (mommy is sending it extra prayers for a little girl, but we will be thrilled with a boy too, we will already have everything for a boy!)

Sunday, March 13th: The boys are helping daddy put together the foam puzzle for the toy room.

Monday, March 14th: Two days after temperatures in the 70s we wake up to 2 inches of snow. Thankfully it didn't even last until the next day!

Tuesday, March 15th: Unfortunately I don't have any other pictures from today. Pictures from the boys' favorite characters, Disney's Cars.

Wednesday, March 16th: Enjoying a beautiful day in the 70s. We broke out the sidewalk chalk and had fun playing outdoors for a change.

Thursday, March 17th: Happy St. Patty's Day! It's actually hot here today, temps into the 80s. The boys and I were outside where we met Mr. Toad. Matthew surprised me and wanted nothing to do with the toad, he was actually scared of it. Ryan was completely different, there was no hesitation and he wanted to grab the frog out of my hand.

Friday, March 18th: The boys emptied out my utensil drawer and as long as they were not fighting, I was completely happy with it. At least they were not wrestling or biting each other, which was a nice change for mommy!

Saturday, March 19th: Jason and Anne came up from Florida with their 5 month old twins today. We got a chance to grab lunch with them and hang out for a little while. Ryan was having fun entertaining little Abigail.

Sunday, March 6th: Playing with blankets. Ryan really liked pulling Matthew around on the blanket, and then they had a game of peek-a-boo.

Monday, March 7th: A trip to the resale store and mommy bought a new Little People school bus and some cars for the boys to play with. Mommy was also thinking positively and picked up some summer outfits, hopefully the warm days will be here to stay soon!

Tuesday, March 8th: The boys both wanted to help peel potatoes. Raw potatoes are yummy, I guess.

Wednesday, March 9th: Both boys are still getting over their last cold, either that or the runny nose is from the molars I realized were coming in. At least after these teeth we will be done for a while, since there is no more room in their mouth for more!

Thursday, March 10th: Daddy helped build the mega block tower with the boys. I am surprised they let him build it so tall, they really love to knock towers over.

Friday, March 11th: Watching cartoons after a long day. We went to the library today for story time. Both boys finally seemed to spend more time listening to the librarian, but they were still all over the place most of the time.

Saturday, March 12th: Playing one of their favorite games, chasing daddy. A beautiful day today, we went to the park with Aunt Heather and cousin Katie.

Welcome to another addition of a day in the life of our house!

Sunday, February 27th: The artists at work with their Etch-a-Sketch. Notice mommy's fuzzy sock on Matthew's arm. Something new to play with I guess. Tonight we had a long night. It was our first (probably of many) nights in the basement for tornado warnings. A nasty storm blew through about 11:30 tonight, with possible tornado activity, so we spent about 30 minutes in the basement and then it took about an hour for the boys to fall back asleep.

Monday, February 28th: Tired this morning, especially after yesterday's excitement. The boys went to First Friends today, where Ryan fell and bumped his head. He was pretty upset for a long time, but I know that is because he was tired, and probably scared since mommy was not there. No harm done, not even a bump on the head. Pictures: the boys laying on their fuzzy blanket and Matthew destroying the toy room.

Tuesday, March 1st: Daddy got down our riding toys from the attic. You can't just get one new toy down, or else there is trouble, so he had to go back up and get the tricycle too. As soon as they start to lose interest in these, they will go back upstairs (or outside) because they take up a lot of room!

Wednesday, March 2nd: Happy birthday Grandpa Peterson! Grandma Smith came down today because daddy was out of town for work. So we spent the afternoon playing with Grandma, showing her our stylish potty hat. No, it definitely has not been used for the correct purpose yet!

Thursday, March 3rd: Both boys are sick. Mommy came down with something Monday, and today the boys were both cranky, and had runny noses, low grade fevers, and coughs. We had a good two week stretch where everyone seemed to be healthy, and now back to being sick. Hopefully this will not last long, mommy is at least feeling better today, so it wasn't too long for her. Grandma hooked the boys up with the best seats in the house, to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Friday, March 4th: Not much going on today, just trying to get the boys healthy. Uncle Kirk came up to visit from Carbondale. Picture of my spring "splurge": a hydrangea plant from the grocery store. I wonder if I can plant it outside once the weather warms up. If not, at least it helps brighten things in the house a bit!

Saturday, March 5th: Couch goats in action. You would never tell by the pictures that both guys are sick. They still seem to have limitless energy and no fear!
