We did it!

Just a quick post because I had to share it with someone, and I think the grandparents are all tired of hearing about every little detail...

I am going to go out on a limb and say that both boys are successfully potty trained! Well, mostly... we still need to work on telling mommy when we need to go, but if mommy is persistent, both boys can stay dry AND clean all day long. Nights, we still have to work on. Both boys are about 50/50 staying dry all night long. We have been in big boy undies during the day for a few weeks now, and I can count on one hand the number of accidents in the past week. Yes, I am sure there will be future accidents. I know there will be. BUT I am so very proud to finally, have only one diapered kid in the house. Hooray!

Project Life 2012 ~ Week 3

Sunday, January 15th: Grandma and Grandpa came down today to deliver the play kitchen the boys got for Christmas. They were playing hide and seek with daddy before bedtime.

Monday, January 16th: I can see where M gets his button addiction from.

Tuesday, January 17th: Still literally chugging away with potty training. M is doing really well. It's hard to get R to even try and sit on the potty. On a good day, when I remember to get M to sit on the potty every 60-90 minutes, he can stay dry all day. Dirty diapers are a completely different story though!

Wednesday, January 18th: It's amazing how big they are getting...

Thursday, January 19th: Out for the night. She's like M, she likes to cover her face up with blankets.

Friday, January 20th: Playing with flashlights.

Saturday, January 21st: Rock band.

Project Life 2012 ~ Week 2

Sunday, January 8th: Two silly boys. They both wanted to snuggle on the couch after nap time.

Monday, January 9th: My sewing buddy, fast asleep.

Tuesday, January 10th: Daddy's home!

Wednesday, January 11th: Someone needs bigger clothes. It's time to get the 3-6 month clothes down from the attic!

Thursday, January 12th: This much snow caused so much havoc during the morning commute. It wasn't so much the snow... but MoDOT! They initially treated the roads for the snow, but with the falling temperatures the melted snow refroze, causing black ice and a 2 hour commute for Jas. The boys loved it. Doesn't M remind you of the little boy in A Christmas Story... where he is bundled up  with so much clothes that he can't get up when he falls down.

Friday, January 13th: Jumping on the couch. And M sharing a late night book with daddy. M woke up around 10:30 crying, so he came downstairs to settle down a little. We think he had a bad dream.

Saturday, January 14th: Mr. Carrot. Peanut's first dog toy that the boys found this last week. They had a lot of fun running around the table and tickling each other with Mr. Carrot.

Project Life 2012 ~ Week 1

Sunday, January 1st: The boys playing in a box from their kitchen set they received for Christmas. Daddy cut port holes for the boys to pop out of and a door in and out.

Monday, January 2nd: H playing with her gym that she got for Christmas. She is reaching for the toys and grabbing on to them.

Tuesday, January 3rd: Day one of potty training. Dora the Explorer helped keep the boys entertained. R went potty for the first time today. I added the leaves just to cover any bare areas. I made sure when I took the picture that nothing was exposed, but I still wanted to cover the area up for obvious reasons.

Wednesday, January 4th: Riding two to a tractor (made for one)

Thursday, January 5th: Posing for pictures

Friday, January 6th: Surprise!

Saturday, January 7th: Lunch at Chik-Fil-A and playing in their wonderful play land. If you have one of these restaurants near you, they are so family orientated!

Random October Pictures ~ October 27, 2011

(this was after a bath, after mommy tried to tame H's crazy hair)

October has flown by and I am still not sure where the time went. I didn't even realize H was a month old on the 22nd until I was going to bed. Things are getting more routine around here, right now I am enjoying a small miracle, all three kids are sleeping at the same time. Just a small break from the craziness that will start up again once the boys wake up. I am still not taking pictures as much as I should, I know I am going to kick myself for that later. The last two pictures of H were taken yesterday, she weighs 10 pounds and 5 ounces today. We have her next pediatrician appointment next week, along with her first round of immunizations, yippee! The boys are still crazy almost 2.5 year olds. They fight, yell, scream, run around, and do everything you expect from a 2 year old. I found pen on the wall the other day, I guess someone found that while mommy wasn't looking and decided to color. Day by day... that's about it! H is starting to stir, so back to mommy hood!
