Questions ~ September 9, 2009
Anyway, the boys are four months old now! We started them out on rice cereal the other night and it was a disaster. I think we waited way too long and the boys were way too hungry to try something new. Plus, it didn't look like it tasted very good. So last night we tried again, with a tiny bit of applesauce in it to sweeten it up. We had mixed results this time. Matthew seemed to like it, after getting over the spoon issue, but Ryan hated it again. Everything we put in was spit back out. At least it ended up on the bib and not in my face. So I guess we will try oatmeal with Ryan and keep Matthew on rice for now, just to make sure he doesn't have a reaction. Hopefully Ryan will like the oatmeal! I am really hoping they start to sleep longer soon!
So... once they are eating the cereal, do I continue to limit the amount they eat to 1-1.5 TBSP of cereal? When can they eat more? Do they make a "Raising kids for dummies" book? I have so many questions!! :)

Chatty Matthew ~ August 28, 2009
Both boys can now roll from their stomach to their backs, although they seem to forget they can do it every once and a while. They are both starting to laugh also, which makes playtime so much more fun.
In other news we just got a new, used minivan. No more sporty Grand Prix for Jason! He gets to cruise around in my powder blue Focus while I get the soccer mom van. We got a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country with power doors... those have come in handy!

Story time ~ August 21, 2009
Here is also a video that I just found of the boys getting to know each other. I love how crazy Ryan gets when he can't reach his hand to suck... and Matthew's face is priceless.

Meeting Each Other ~ August 16, 2009
Both boys are becoming more active and are developing their own personalities. Matthew has always been my laid back boy, easy to smile and pretty content with everything. Ryan is more demanding, but still a very sweet and happy baby. I am guessing he will be the first to walk and Matthew will be the first to talk... I can also see Ryan being the leader of the two when they get older, and Matthew will be the one to come up with some story to get them both out of trouble. They definitely are a joy to watch grow and change everyday.
